Promotion of positive physical and mental health in children is my ultimate goal. To carry out my research, I have utilized multiple perspectives through implementing family-centered interventions, collaborating with community organizations in underserved areas, and leveraging technologies. My research interests include 1) promoting healthy pregnancy and birth outcomes in underserved communities; 2) preventing mental health problems in children from underserved communities; 3) understand emotion co-regulation in families with typically developing children; and 4)promoting emotional and behavioral development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
