It’s back-to-school month at UCI! Meet incoming Anteater and future nurse Jeremy Liu, class of 2023.
Why do you want to be a master’s-prepared nurse?
I want to become a master’s-prepared nurse to not only contribute to an interprofessional healthcare team aimed at promoting successful patient outcomes, but also to spearhead change in healthcare systems as our understanding of care techniques expands.
Why did you choose UCI School of Nursing?
I chose UCI School of Nursing because of the concentration in community and population health.
Through UCI, I hope to continue pursuing my passion serving vulnerable populations and tackling the barriers hindering healthcare accessibility. I look forward to becoming a nurse leader who advocates for my patients through careful care coordination and provides holistic, patient-centered care rooted in compassion.
What’s one fun fact about you?
I spend too much time watching cooking shows and I love baking!
