PhD student Danisha Jenkins published in Nursing Inquiry
Congratulations to Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing PhD student Danisha Jenkins, on her just-published article, “‘This Is Not a Patient, This Is Property of the State’: Nursing, ethics, and the immigrant detention apparatus” in Nursing Inquiry!
This important critique was co-authored by CNP Steering Committee members Dave Holmes and Candace Burton.
As Professor Holmes states, this important article is a “good example of what we can do as nurses to foster social justice. We must go beyond words and have the courage to speak (write) truth to power.”
