Biography
Jessica Oliver is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing at the University of California Irvine. She has over 12 years of nursing experience in areas such as adult and pediatric medical-surgical care, home health, and adult hospice. She received her DNP from Azusa Pacific University in 2023 with the project “Use of High-Fidelity Interprofessional Simulation in Preparing New Graduates for Pediatric End of Life Care.” As a former member of the nursing faculty at Azusa Pacific University, Oliver has managed both the skills and simulation labs and has taught many courses across pre-licensure including fundamentals, medical-surgical/geriatrics, pediatrics, and community health nursing. She also serves as an advisor and clinical expert for current DNP students whose project focus involves nursing education, simulation, and/or end of life care.
