uci school of nursing master's entry program in nursing (mepn) ranks 45 in us news and world reportThe Master’s Entry in Nursing Program (MEPN) at the UCI Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is one of the 50 best in the country in the 2022 rankings just released by U.S. News & World Report.

The program, currently in its fifth year, ranks 45 among all schools, up six positions since 2021, and 31 among public schools.

A MEPN is for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in another discipline who want to pursue a career in nursing. The MEPN program at UCI is a two-year program with a concentration on community health.

Other areas in the Henry & Susan Samueli College of Health Sciences were also ranked overall/among public schools:

  • Medicine — research: 48 (20 among public schools)
  • Medicine — primary care: 41 (29 among public schools)
  • Public Health: 41 (22 among public schools)
