Nursing Students Sarah J. Yoon, Kimberlee A. Leggat, and Alexander M. Amador & Krista S. Ruivivar Awarded 2020 UROP Award

We are excited to announce four School of Nursing bachelors students, Sarah J. Yoon, Kimberlee A. Leggat, and Alexandra M. Amador and Krista S. Ruivivar on being awarded the 2019-2020 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) award.

 

 

Sarah J. Yoon is being awarded $400 in support of her proposed research project, “Development of Interprofessional Education Focused on Communication Methods,” under the supervision of Dr. Miriam Bender.

Kimberlee A. Leggat is being awarded $300 in support of her proposed research project, “Validating a CNL Practice Model Through Convergent Validity Analysis,” under the supervision of Dr. Miriam Bender.

Alexandra M. Amador and Krista S. Ruivivar are being awarded $350 in support of their proposed research project, “Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Emotion-regulation in Homeless Women with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder,” under the supervision of Dr. Dana Garfin.
