The Center for Nursing Philosophy is proud to have launched the Nursing Philosophy Reading Group.

The goal was to select a topic of interest to nursing philosophy, identify a selection of papers/book sections related to the topic, and read and discuss over a series of virtual meetings.

The inaugural reading group series were co-facilitated by Miriam Bender, associate professor and director of the UCI Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing Center for Nursing Philosophy, and Olga Petrovskaya, assistant professor at University of Victoria in Canada (UVic). The series focused on Actor-Network Theory as an orientation to examining nursing-health phenomena.
