How has your experiance in the military prepared you for you current role as a simulation specialist at the School of Nursing?

My military experience has shaped me to become the man I am today. I was taught how to be strong, professional, and most importantly to do what was right… I taught Combat Life Savers (CLS) Courses and Combat Medic Skills Training (CMAST) in Korea. We would incorporate different aspects of simulation during the scenarios which gave me a great wealth of knowledge and cast amounts of experience. I love this job because it gives our nursing students a higher degree of confidence and competence before they go into the clinical environment.
