Nursing Philanthropy

The UC Irvine Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing began as a Program in Nursing Science in 2007 with a bachelor of science (BS) degree program. Today, the School is home to more than 200 highly qualified students enrolled at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.

Your philanthropic support of the School of Nursing can make a lasting impact on the health of our community and beyond.

Consider that the first pillar of UC Irvine’s strategic plan — Growth That Makes a Difference: Expanding Our Capacity to Improve Lives — describes the important goal of expanding the quality and impact of UC Irvine Health. The new strategic plan further emphasizes something that lies at the heart of nursing scholarship: generating new knowledge that translates into real-world impact.

The UC Irvine School of Nursing is dedicated to inspiring community health by educating nursing professionals who will be uniquely poised to meet the public’s healthcare needs over the next several decades.

Our School is also committed to developing and implementing science-driven holistic healthcare designed in collaboration with partners on campus and in local communities. Our remarkable faculty and gifted students share a passion for healing and discovery that drives them toward excellence. The School has embraced partnerships and new opportunities to move beyond early successes to sustained, groundbreaking engagements that transform community health through nursing leadership.

We would greatly value your gift in support of the UC Irvine Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing.
