Ongoing UCI Nursing School Study Shows a Comprehensive Program Improves Health and Quality of Life for Woman Living with HIV/AIDS in India

Results from an ongoing five-year NIH-funded study indicate increased social support for women living with HIV/AIDS could improve adherence to antiretroviral therapy and mitigate internalized stigma associated with the disease.

The UCI Nursing Alumni Association was created for alumni to be informed of opportunities to grow and excel in the profession, learn about job openings and volunteer opportunities to support the community, and mentor future generation of students who will join in our ranks. 


NCIS: UCI - Nursing Camp in Summer 2017

The Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing launched its first summer camp for high school students in August.  NCIS: UCI (Nursing Camp in Summer) was a weeklong camp introducing the nursing profession to high school students.

Fifty-one seventh- and eighth-grade students from El Sol Academy in Santa Ana participated in the 2nd Annual Future Health Champions Day, dissecting sheep hearts, learning to treat wounds and listening for vital signs.
